Objective
National High Power Test Laboratory Pvt. Ltd. is a Joint Venture Company of NTPC, NHPC, POWERGRID , DVC & CPRI. The objective of the Company is to establish a state-of-the-art on-line High Power Short Circuit Test Facility which will be fully independent professionally managed stand alone testing facilities in India to provide full range of Short Circuit testing for the electrical equipment manufacturing industry and power supply utilities in conformance to Indian and International Standards. This proposed laboratory will be extremely beneficial for Indian power sector and manufacturers of high power electrical equipment of India and neighboring countries.

NHPTL has successfully tested India’s highest rating Auto Transformer 500MVA 400/220/33kV, 3Ph. Manufactured by BHEL Bhopal for End user UPPTCL
